Support Black Talent
We are making an intentional effort to offer internships and employment opportunities to our Moody’s Foundation education partners who serve the Black community with a goal of increasing our talent pipeline.
Advance Black Leaders
Moody’s is committed to catalyzing the advancement of ethnically diverse candidates at Moody’s and promoting cultural awareness. This includes expanding internal conversations on diversity through our Moody’s Courageous Conversations series, empowering diverse employees to reach their full potential, and engaging with organizations dedicated to diversity and inclusion.
Educate about Racial Justice
Our affiliate, Four Twenty Seven, who are recognized experts in assessing climate risk will use their platform to educate about environmental justice, equitable adaptation, and the interplay of race and climate change through webinars, publications and research.

OUR DIVERSITY STRATEGY
Our diversity strategy focuses on hiring diverse candidates and elevating non-traditional employees to leadership positions, with a focus on empowering women leaders on a global scale and increasing the racial and ethnic makeup of our employees and leaders in the United States.

We take a holistic approach to this work by implementing comprehensive education programs, such as diversity trainings, as well as specialized programs for historically marginalized groups, including Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). We also encourage Courageous Conversations and institute D&I accountability measures to help move us from awareness to impact.

We acknowledge the opportunity for the financial services industry to do more in promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we recognize the responsibility we have to our employees, customers, stakeholders, and society to advance our diversity strategy.

Workforce
Through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Diversity Council, we ensure the interests and values of our employees are represented. Our ERGs are overseen by executive sponsors and comprised of regional chapters and advisory committees. Our Diversity Council is siloed into an executive council, comprising of senior leadership; regional councils, representing employees in the Americas, EMEA and APAC; and advisory committees.
VIEW PROGRAMS
Workplace
To ensure an inclusive workplace from both an employee and operational perspective, we invest in diversity trainings and a supplier diversity program. Our diversity trainings are required for all employees globally, with specialized trainings on inclusive leadership and talent. Our supplier diversity program commits Moody’s to using minority, women-, veteran and LGBTQ+-owned businesses, which have historically been underutilized in the supply chain.
VIEW PARTNERSHIPS
Community
Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and partnerships, we are committed to empowering people with financial knowledge, activating an environmentally sustainable future, and helping young people reach their potential. This includes donations from the Moody’s Foundation to our non-profit partners, as well as employee volunteering programs and pro bono activities to help the communities where we live and work.
